South Poll

South Poll is a composite breed composed of four British (taurine) and two African (sanga) bloodlines by crossing:

1. Angus
2. Hereford
3. Senepol
4. Barzona

Note, both Senepol and Barzona are taurine-sanga composite breeds themselves. The Senepol breed combines Red Poll and N’Dama. The Barzona breed combines Hereford, Beef Shorthorn, Angus and Africander.
